Bio:
Amar Mangat was born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He graduated from BC School for the Deaf Burnaby, B.C. Amar is a founder of Sign with Amar on Instagram, social media platform to teach ASL. He is a freelance sign language instructor working with LGBTQ+ youth for facilitating workshops and youth groups. He works as Content Creator, Content Website and Marketing at SLIAO/ASIGN and just completed Deaf Interpreter workshops to get the certificate. Look forward to learning and my new journey begins with being a Deaf Interpreter.

Biographie :
Amar Mangat est né à Toronto, en Ontario et il a grandi à Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique. Il est diplômé de la BC School for the Deaf Burnaby, en Colombie-Britannique. Amar est l'un des fondateurs de Sign with Amar sur Instagram, une plateforme de médias sociaux pour l'enseignement de l'ASL. Il est instructeur indépendant en langue des signes et travaille avec des jeunes LGBTQ+ pour animer des ateliers et des groupes de jeunes. Il travaille en tant que créateur de contenu, site internet de contenu et commercialisation à SLIAO/ASIGN et vient de terminer des ateliers pour les interprètes sourds afin d'obtenir une certification. Je suis impatient d'apprendre et mon nouveau voyage commence en tant qu'interprète sourd.
